Following a successful event last January, the French Property Exhibition returns to London in January 2024!

Wouldn’t it be great if you could speak with professionals about every stage of your French property search, purchase and ownership, all under one roof? Well, you can! The French Property Exhibition, held over two days in January in London, brings together estate agents, lawyers, builders, removals companies and specialists covering currency, tax, insurance, visas, property management and more.

Whatever stage of the househunting or relocation process you’re at, the exhibition is the ideal place to seek the advice you need. You can browse through details of thousands of properties for sale across France, ideal for holiday or permanent homes, discuss your plans to move across the Channel, find out all about the legal process and receive advice on your tax situation.

Don’t miss the free seminars too, which provide further advice on key topics such as choosing where to buy a property, making the most of your budget, estate planning and moving to France.

Mar Bonnin-Palmer of Moneycorp, who will be heading a currency seminar, says: “The exhibition is the perfect one-stop-shop for those looking to buy a property in France. The event covers all aspects of buying, selling and living in France with approachable professionals and plenty of advice for different circumstances and budgets.”

Exhibition sponsor Blevins Franks will be advising visitors on financial planning. “You’ll find the French Property Exhibition a goldmine of information, and not just about buying property,” says Business Development Director Jason Porter. “We’re looking forward to meeting people excited about making their dream of living in France come true. It’s a pleasure to advise them on the financial planning steps they need to take – learning about the French tax and succession landscape before you go provides advantages.”

Judging from the queues at last January’s exhibition, face-to-face advice is still highly valued by those making a property investment or starting a whole new life in France, despite the wealth of information available online nowadays. We were impressed by the level of detail buyers were seeking,” comments Matthew Cameron of Ashtons Legal. “While there is a good appetite for purchasing a property in France, buyers are clearly doing their research in advance, and using the exhibition to speak to the professionals.”

The French Property Exhibitions have been helping buyers achieve their dreams for over 30 years, offering a wealth of information and inspiration. Whichever region appeals and whatever your budget, it’s the ideal opportunity to finally find your dream property.
